Pink, blue, and teal hair. [17 Dec 2009|03:48pm] madradhair [chelliem] I recently dyed my hair pink, blue and teal. The first time I used Paintbox by Fudge, Xtremerz by Tessa and Punky Colours (also known as Directions) Turquoise mixed with a bit of Lagoon Blue. Paintbox and Xtremerz both started fading right away. The second time, I used SFX Atomic Pink, SFX Blue Velvet and SFX Fishbowl mixed with Punky Colours Lagoon Blue. Since the Paintbox and Xtremerz colour faded quicker than the Punky Colours, it was still turquoise when I redid it. Also, I want to note that my hair was still orange from the faded Paintbox dye when I redid it with SFX. Because SFX Blue Velvet is so dark, it made my hair purple (where it should have been pink) but became more pink with each wash. This is the first time I dyed it: ( Time Line ) 18 CMNT

Opinions? [16 Dec 2009|11:30pm] madradhair [neverbargaind4u] So I usually don't need second opinions on what I decide to do with my hair because I can usually trust my judgement. BUT THIS idea is freaking me out a bit. Since I've been dying my haid since the dawn of time, I wanted a fresh start and with that fresh start comes boy hair. I think I might be able to pull it off but it took ONE friend to say that it would look bad to make me second guess myself. I'm planning on growing out my hair (right now it's about a level 4 dark dark dark brown) for a couple months and then chopping it off at the grow out. Rock Star [16 Dec 2009|02:23pm] madradhair [slugshatesalt] So I found on of the Rock Star hair dryers at Goodwill for like $3 so me being really cheep got it seeing on how it still had the box and all, but I'm not sure if it is working right it some times gives off that hot smell and seems to be lacking the power of other hair dryers I have used. Any one have one or know if its just how it works. I haven't had a new hair dryer in years so is the hot smell just from it being new? Also I have on of the light up straighteners from Rock Star that I also picked up at Goodwill and it seems to be going out it was new in the box when I got it do they just not have a long life span any one know. Its not like I'm out any big money like if I would have got them at the store but I might be out some styling tools 1 CMNT

HALP PLX! [16 Dec 2009|01:08am] madradhair [thesha1] sooo...i've been meaning to post for a while, but am pretty lazy. i have a couple dilemmas i'd like some advice on! first dilemma: my hair is super thin, and always has been..but lately it's been seeming EXTRA thin. it may just be my haircut (or lack thereof) making it seem more thin, or the fact that i've been losing it more than normal. regardless, i was wondering if any of you lovelies had any super suggestions for thickening/strengthening products! next dilemma: this will be harder to help with since i have no pics currently to post. i'm growing out my hair from a chin length bob and it's JUST about to my collar bone. i want to keep it the length it is, but add some sassyness. gotta have bangs, but otherwise i'm up for anything! also, it would be nice to have a cut that looks good straight OR wavy, since i like to vary between to two. so please post your favorite bang-clad medium length haircuts to help poor little me! :D thanks a bunch <3 CMNT
